I Listen, We Act, You Grow
Hey there, I’m Roger Crowe, owner of Art of Growth Counseling Services. I am a licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical addictions specialist- associate. I support people of all ages in their desire to move forward toward growth in the wake of painful choices and experiences. I want to help you gain back control of your life, so you can thrive. I believe in the concept of Post Traumatic Growth, where people experience increased personal strength, a new sense of possibilities, a new value for relationships, deepened religious or spiritual beliefs, and a greater appreciation for life in the aftermath of a traumatic event. No matter what has happened in your life, I want you to know that it is possible to heal and grow stronger than you ever thought possible. The decision to seek therapy is a powerful first step, and If you decide to take the journey with me I am confident that I will help you create something positive from the negative and move forward into your authentic self, fully utilizing your strengths to live your life purpose.
In sessions I will meet you where you are, providing an environment where you will feel safe, respected, and understood. I have a creative/integrative style of therapy where I utilize a range of trauma-focused and distress-tolerance treatment approaches to meet your individual needs and discover what works best for you. When I pick up on a pattern that keeps getting you into trouble I am going to point it out to you. The only way a pattern can change is through awareness and mindful action. When I see the pain a pattern is causing you I will be dedicated to helping you heal the wounds and creating a new pattern that moves toward growth.
I am focused on helping you achieve positive change in all areas of your life. I will help you process through and overcome the negative beliefs/behaviors born from trauma by healing the wounds that have impacted your mental, behavioral, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. I can tell you that some sessions may be difficult, but I will be there with you to help support you through it with empathy as my authentic self.
